Re: C-Springs

will GT C-Springs work?

i am loosely thinking about trading the GT in, so if i know someone wants/needs them id take em off for ya, its not like stock 4x4 height will affect the crappy trade-in value anyways.

Re: C-Springs

My main concern is if I will need CC plates, I heard anything over an Inch requires cc plates. I have 02 v6. Any truth to that?

If I go with C springs, I found they drop my car 1.1'', but If I go with Eibach Pro-Kit Springs - it will drop my car 1.5 inches. I see good reviews on both, but I'll take the extra 1/2 inch with Eibach as long as I dont need the cc plates.

Re: C-Springs

the need or not the need for cc plates depends on many factors, some cars need them while others do not. I would personally get them and install them with the springs, but thats just me.

When you go over an inch chances are you will need them to fix the alignment.

IMO 1 inch is NOT much of a drop... you probably wont be happy with the looks. You need 1.5 at least to start to notice. You can cut C springs a bit with no negatives to get more of a drop. Some even come cut from ford already (rears)

the C spring has a great rate it just needs to be cut a tad to fix. Make sure the spring rate is at least 600 front 300 rear. My h&rs are 730 front and the ride is still good.

FYI this is a VERY old thread so post a new one for help on this matter.
