LOCKED sct xcal 2

I have a locked xcal 2 for years 96-08. I would like to sell, $75 plus ship takes it

I've seen on here that its crazy hard and pricey to get those unlocked and get it re-tuned for a different car. If you can please help out on some info on If its true or not I'm interested.

I heard it was $150 to retune the programmer. You have to send back to company. Then I think you'll have 3 tunes. You will still have to buy tunes for life from am. If u want more tunes.

It cost $150 to unlock from SCT, then you have a clean tuner for <$250, it's more towards interest of dyno tune guys since they need a blank/unlocked tuner to bring in for the tuner to use
