Requires a tune though. I'd be interested in the steeda but I need to sell my airaid first. Which is up for sell.

The steeda may require a tune, but when you start it up, it sucks more air in and on shut down it blows the air out. My airaid doesn't do that. It also changes your exhaust note.

doesn't change the exhaust note, it makes the sound of your engine louder

I think the whole reason the steeds needs a tune is due to they actually relocate MAF sensor. I remember a steeda rep saying that on a site.

It may give a few more hp/tq numbers too but in the grand scheme of things they all do the same thing.

IMO it comes down to which one you like the looks of the most.

I think they are too expensive but I like the sound and the eye candy and u had to money to spend. So win win.

It has like a half inch bigger tube so it throws off the sensor

That's what I was referring to. I think it was on a another forum and it wasn't the larger tubing it was that they had to relocate the MAF so that is what really requires the tune.

Who knows? I don't care I like them all as they will all net you about the same thing

My roush are in a way, more broad and less high pitch. Maybe 5 decibels.

I just want more of the intake sucking and blowing instead of at a certain rpm.

The intake tube is a large diameter therefore it confuses the sensor. That's why it has to be tuned. The tube allows more air to flow through it.

If you're talking v6? I don't see how with a stationary 3" throttle body. The tube on a steeda is flexible and can expand to the 4". But it's still a 3" throttle body. The c&l is a 4 to 3" tube so it causes more force in the air to push into the 3" hole at 685 Cfm. Stock is 550. Just my readings.

Airaid for $255 shipped. 300 miles on it and factory box and......stickers!!!!
