When you look inside the pipes down by the X, are they actually open and cross over, or is that some sort of clamp holding then together but each side is completely independent of one another?

I'd be interested, because everyone says that an X pipe is raspy, but our stock exhausts are not raspy, even with a set of aftermarket axle-backs.

Just throw some resonators on there and it will take out a lot of the rasp and yea that's what I'm looking for!

The 3.7 actually comes with a hybrid mid pipe from the factory not an x pipe!

So, what exactly, does that mean? It sounds like you are saying exhaust can pass between both pipes. A hybrid between an X and an H? If so, how come it is so much quieter than an X or H? These cars are really quiet with a completely stock exhaust.

They are quieter because of the cats if you cut those off and just welded a straight pieces in woulf probably be about as efficient as an aftermarker one. But then again aftermarket does have a little bit larger pipe and no secondary resonators. Is that you getting it here or me getting it?

It's a mix between the X & the H. & Clamp is right it's quiet because of the cats & the mufflers. Take both of those away & it'll get loud! They make them quiet because most of the buyers don't want loud exhaust!
