ISO 2001 Cobra Engine

Im looking for a 2001 cobra engine, anyone know who is selling one? Or do you guys recommend me looking into? I live in east texas. But if they are far, its fine as long as its not a private owner.

Prepare to pay way way WAY over the top prices for them, people think they are made out of gold. It'd probably be cheaper to build a longblock from scratch TBTH.

Absolutely insane. I have an adapter to mate a Continental block to a Mustang trans. $200 for that whole engine, $250 for the intake and figure another $500 for front cover/accessories and Mustang specific stuff. And all that I wound up getting for free selling off parts from other motors I pulled some of those parts off of.

You can get any competent machine shop to make you a bell adapter.

Please use the PM function to discuss such issues. Otherwise this thread will be removed. It causes unfair bumps.

There's one on Craigslist in Phoenix. It was either $1000 or $1500. All kinds of stuff for the 99 - 04's too.
