Converting from Single to Dual Exhaust

Okay, so I got some GT Takeoffs from a guy on another forum for $30 (15 miles on them) and I would like to convert over to duals.

I am not looking for alot of gain but I am looking for a deep rumble-but nothing super loud.

How should I go about doing this?? I have called a few local muffler shops here in the area and they keep telling me that I need to buy the conversion kit but I am having a hard time finding one that will come without the mufflers. I guess I just figured that they could fabricate something for me. Also, do I go with an H or X??

Any help is greatly appreciated!!

First of all if you go for a kit you have to make sure its a true dual not a 2 muffler conversion. you should really go headers back. i would contact people and see if they will sell you the entire kit minus the muffler itself. THey probebly will not but you never know.

if it seems to cost more then just having somone fabricate it for you then go for that. and go x pipe.

good luck, hope i could help
