If it's a dyno jet: 312RWHP/320RWTQ
Mustang dyno: 296RWHP/302RWTQ.

Re: Dyno day tomorrow...

It was a dynojet and she did 297 on the 2nd run but they only ran her to 4500RPMs.I dont understand why they let off but I know she has more in there.

Why would they only run there? If it's still building power keep going.

Re: Dyno day tomorrow...

I think peak hp is around 5800 RPMS. Did they ask what RPM did you want the car taken up to?

Re: Dyno day tomorrow...

I'm sure that's where it made peak torque. I have to say I really don't think it made that hp at 4500rpms. If that was the case it would make over 400hp at 6k rpms and no S197 makes that with the mods you have.

I think you may have miss understood them. Do you have the dyno sheet?

also what happen with the cobra?

Re: Dyno day tomorrow...

I had to stand outside because I had my son and it was on and off in under 5 minutes.I even had someone pull it out and park it for me.I think their main concern was to get through the 20+ cars and get home. She didnt even sound as loud as when I drive her,its almost like they were babying the car.

Check that other thread for the Cobra story....horrible experience.

Re: Dyno day tomorrow...

297 is about right actually~ my friends 08 GT made right at that same power with under drive, axleback, C&L race, and bama chips 93 tune... doug makes his tunes lean generally if you have an a/f you may see this. If you add 5% fuel it may pick up the power fyi.

a dynojet is not a loaded dyno and when you start the run they go QUICK it really doesnt seem like you get a full rpm pull but you do... they are very fast since there is no load on the car (also detonation wont show up here as easy due to no load fyi)

Re: Dyno day tomorrow...

It seems a little low with his mods. I dynoed 302/312 with JLT/Bamachips 91 tq tune, steeda udp, prochamber w/hi-flow cats and 4.10s.

Re: Dyno day tomorrow...

they didnt give you a dyno sheet? also every dyno is different, its not 100% accurate ever~ just how it is... its a tool to tune and see percent gains more than anything.

Re: Dyno day tomorrow...

they do have loaded dynojet dynos now. 2 shops in baton rouge have them. they tend to read about 20hp less than an unloaded dyno. just like a mustang dyno.

Re: Dyno day tomorrow...

Dyno sheet was provided, but I'm still not believing that she only has 297. I'm in the process of setting up another run with a couple other members of CTS here in Austin so I will let y'all know how it goes and hopefully I will see a 312 mark.

Re: Dyno day tomorrow...

well as said above no dyno is accurate 100% its just not how it is, and 297 is within the range of what your car should do. A loaded dyno will dyno less generally ... so if you simply want to see high numbers im sure you can find a dyno that will read high for you to get good numbers on lol. You need to inspect your fuel and see if you are lean, that can pull some power as well. Keep us updated and post up your graph, does it have a/f you can also see the rpm pull they went to.

On mine the stoped the pull at like 6200 for some reason when its good to go till 6500.. not that it really mattered but I wanted to see if my MAF was good till 6500.

Re: Dyno day tomorrow...

Ok, cause both pulls went above 6k rpms according to the dyno sheet. Didn't look like it stopped at 4500 like you said earlier so I figured it was someone else's car.
