Thinking about this engine package

Opinions?

PMP has tested and released our new STAGE 1 3-valve engine package. This new engine assembly produces 435hp and 420ft/tq naturally aspirated with fuel mileage tested @ over 22mpg-hwy. At 9:1 compression, this engine will accept blowers and turbo kits for future mods. This is an excellent upgrade for all 2005+ owners looking to upgrade rather than buy a new 2011gt

PMP - All new iron block Engine, 5.0L 3v, custom cylinder heads, Forged with custom oil pump and fully assembled, just add your intake and accessories. Requires Tuning and 32# Injectors - we recommend a Cold Air Intake Kit as well with Exhaust headers and mid pipe.

Item Name: PMP 425+HP Package
Item Price: $8695

PMP is offering this engine with a complete install, DYNO tune and programmer with DYNO sheets and backed with a limited 12/12 warranty from PMP. Our test configuration included a FRPP cold air kit and a long tube SS headers from kooks and a catted X-pipe with 5spd Manual transmission, Stock fuel pump and Stock injectors. All of our horsepower ratings are at the engine - same as Ford and all others. Power loss on average is 15-16% to the tires. We tuned and tested engine on Mike Murillo’s Mustang DYNO - additionally, Mike said this was the most powerful 3v NA motor he has ever had on his DYNO.

For those wanting some additional power, it can be done with no additional cost but you will potentially sacrifice the option of using a blower

I have the full install/tuning price and this also comes with a year supply of motorcraft oil and service free of charge.

After riding in the Eagle car you might want to look into them. Something about a stroked 4.6 revving to 8500 that got my attention.

Eagle Specialty Products, Inc. - Home

Their shop/company is about a mile from the house. Right down the road from Bridge racing and BB&T

Re: Thinking about this engine package

If you've ever heard of someone running Eagle rods/pistons that's the company right there. Didn't even know these people were around me still I started looking.

Bridge Racing holds a few mod motor records and are known for 1000+hp builds and low single digit 1/4 mile times. BB&T is just a good overall shop that can build a consistently fast car.

Re: Thinking about this engine package

I have everyone and their G'ma saying,"blower, blower, blower" and I know thats more bang for the buck.Believe me I have researched blowers here and there and then some but I want to go the safe route 1st and I like the idea of the forged internals and having a 5.0 in the 07.Plus im not in a huge hurry to slap on a blower and that 435 is a nice # to start with. She is not a DD so when its blower time I am expecting to have 8k or less on the clock.

Seen it but I'm not lookin to stay NA. This just to be pre blower safe and 435 will be fun until the blower.
