it seems when the 05+ reach 450rwhp/tq they are at their limit (as most say) some of course have done more or less and have had issues or no issues at all... I would probably aim for around 400rwhp/rwtq.

A customer of the shop I deal with has an 06 auto with a vortech (or paxton) and is running somewhere like 430 rwhp currently. he is 66 is drives the hell out of the car on the street and at the track. It hasn't blown up...yet.

The shop around here has a few 05's with blowers on them... one of them is just a stock motor with fuel upgrades and a vortech and it put down 486rwhp... still movin along just fine for 2 years or so now and that car gets is **** rocked lol
The x pipe will give you a more even flow of gases from the exhaust than the stock H. While a stock GT might benifit that much. If you decied to go with the F/I Xpipe might be a must.
