Benifits of strut braces?

On a basicaly stock (CAI and tuner with 410 gears) Is a strut brace of any real benifit other than eye candy? I understand on heavly moded engines it is a must due to the added torque.

Re: Benifits of strut braces?

Are you a coupe? If so, you won't see much gain in feel. In my vert, I saw a huge difference in body twist even just going over speed bumps or into driveways. A coupe doesn't suffer as much as a vert tho.

They look good. Not too hard to install. However can make simple tasks a pita if working around or under it.

You will in a vert. When I took mine off, the car felt flimsy as hell in corners, driveways, and the like. And that was just a 2 point brace. I look forward to getting the 3 point brace to solidify the car again.

You will notice sfc's if you don't already have them, like night and day difference, I was amazed the first test drive.
