Is a X tuner from Bama ready to go out of the box?

Just got my SCT X3 Power Flash tuner in and I took the CD out and loaded the programs into my computer. First thing it says in RED is that I need to upgrade it-firmware/software and down load tunes??? As I bought it from Bama do I need to do this? I tried and messed with it for over an hour figuring I needed to down load my custom tunes from someones web-sight. I finally got to a page that seemed to list the octane ratings I ordered except for the fact it listed my car as a 2009 not a 2008? I stopped right there! Is there a way to view the tune specs that are loaded on myTuner prior to downloading to my car? I am just a little worried I guess.
Thanks again for all you folks do
DANG I hope I did not just screw the pooch

If you ordered a tuner the tunes you requested will be preloaded into the tuner so all you need to do is plug that ***** in,upload and get to smokin them tires!

Thanks thats just what I did! CAI and tuner installed like a dream. Now the 4:10s
I see why the documentation is so light. The thing just walks you right through it! Had a OBDII Os sensor showing rich on the dash (check engine light) cleared it with the X3 no problem.
I was just a nervious nelly

87-street, 93 sport-93 race-my rear end is all over the place(literaly) those 4:10s are gonna be great I just know it! I did take it out for a spin after the tune install before I started breaking down my rear end, and there was a noticable diffrence. No WOW factor, but noticable, especialy at WOT on the sport tune 93 only. I have not tried the race tune yet.

Race tune with 4.10's is awesome! I did longtubes/midpipe,cai and tune (already had 4.10's) all at once and it was a major difference.

well the race tune leans the motor and ups the timing. If you drive everyday in that tune your gonna get some spark knock, unless you run an octane booster with every tank.

unless it is setup for a 93 octane but just a touch more aggressive. If it's for 93 instead of 96, then he'll be fine.
