GForce Chip

I read of a chip that can be added to my 2007 GT that claims to add 60 hp and 6-7 MPG. Does anyone know how true see claims are and can anyone recommend any chip modifications that have worked?

Thanks.

Re: GForce Chip

+1 for a hand held tuner. I recommend a SCT X3 Programmer, but I hear DiadloSport also makes a good product.

Thanks for all of the feedback. It sounded too good to be true. A tune sounds like the way to go.

Thanks again!

Re: GForce Chip

An item like this is mostly likely just a resistor that changes the IAT signal to trick the ECU into thinking that the air temperature is different than it really is, causing fueling and spark adjustments. A legitimate reprogrammer plugs into the OBDII port in the driver's footwell and costs 5 or 6 times as much. If I were you I would save my money for a legitimate flash tuner like the Diablo Predator which will actually improve your cars performance by actually reprogramming the ECU.

Re: GForce Chip

yea those chips are 100% worthless not sure why they are allowed to be sold on sites such as ebay etc...

get a good tune from a good tuner in your area (if you have one and by good I mean one that KNOWS the 05-10 GT and knows how to tune them) or order a tuner/tune from american muscle that used bamachips orig tunes that are really good for 05+
