Exhaust Install

I wanted to have a catted x pipe installed on my 06 GT but don't want to pay a lot to have it professionally done. Does anyone live in the SF Valley in Cali know someone that does it or know of a place that can give me a really good price?

Re: Exhaust Install

So you just want to put a catted X on? Already have a axleback installed? Or are you waiting to buy one?

I don't have a catback I have American thunder flowmaster axle backs right now but want to keep those so I want to do an x pipe. Would actually want an h pipe cuz I like the sound better but they seem more expensive and harder to find. So an x pipe is fine but it needs to be catted cuz of emissions and all that

Re: Exhaust Install

You could buy some high flow cats and just go to an exhaust shop and have them build an H-pipe and put your cats on.

My 03 GT was super easy to replace! Why pay someone to do what you can do the "right way" vs them rushing through it, strip'n bolts, etc.

Also, the x pipe I had really made a difference over the stock H.

I went with a catted magnaflow x pipe, only because I wanted the later add the magnapack cat back exhaust and wanted a complete exhaust system... Just couldn't afford both at the same time. But what a sound the entire system makes!
