Re: Moding my stag

My first mod is going to be a tune and a cold air intake. After I gather up some more $, it will be a new hood. I hear it's like getting a tattoo, once you get one, you can't stop! Have fun with it and do your research!

+1 on the CAI. Probably the most common first mod! And yes Modding is addicting..... It takes all I have not to mod the Cobra, but I know I'm getting anotther GT soon, so ill get my fix with that!

Re: Moding my stag

mine was an exhaust, but be warned that if your stang is new, some mods may void your warranty

Lol! The only thing I have done to it not stock is a shifter knob with a cobra on it and replaced the running horse on the dash with a cobra badge. Everything else is bone stock! Oh and yes I still have both those pieces safely tucked away.
Might put the stock floormats away for some newer ones though.
No mods for the Cobra, just a bit more resto!
That's why Im on the hunt for another GT!

Re: Moding my stag

exhaust is generally the first step to addiction. It gives sound, a little performance, and looks. It generally is not super expensive either.

Re: Moding my stag

most bolt ons wont hurt the cars wear/tear level at all, they may actually help it. A better air filter keeps stuff out of the engine that would normally get it, easier breathing is easier working etc etc.

SpectorV, I agree with you! The first day I got my car I put on a K/N air filter until I decided what cai to put on.
