Re: V6 gas

If you don't have any mods done on your car you can use the cheapest gas at the station and your car will be fine...

Re: V6 gas

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think that you need a specific type of gas with a cai should be fine on the cheap stuff. If you have a tune on your car sometimes they require you to run a higher octane of gas.

Re: V6 gas

yeah...a cai doesnt need better gas, but i would suggest getting a tuner also...if you have an 05+ i've heard a tuner helps a ton so i would suggest that..

many people have been going for the sct tuners from american muscle. if you have an auto it will help the shifting a ton.
i have an 05 v6 and have the sct sf3 x3 tuner and its great. i'v heard that the 05+ cars are more responsive to basic bolt-ons than most other stangs, so i would suggest getting a tuner with your CAI cuz it would make a noticeable diference

Re: V6 gas

Tuners don't void a warranty because you can plug it back in and put it back to stock. A cai if they have a problem with it, can be taken off and the original can be put back on.

Re: V6 gas

There are cai's for the S197 that dont require and tune but that is a waste IMO.Get a cai & tune now........smile later.
