Vossen Wheels CV1's Review (pics)

Over on the Mustang Forums I was a winner of a Vossen wheel sponsorship. Well I got my wheels this week and I want to pass long the low down on these wheels. First, the wheels come VERY well packed. They go the extra mile and put corner guards all the way around the boxes which are made out of something very close to partial board (very strong). (see pic)

Once you open the box you find another thick cardboard top over the wheel and on the wheel its self a black cover to protect the polished lip.

The wheels also come with: Center caps, chrome valve stems, and centering rings.

I was very impressed by the quality of the wheels and pictures just don't do them any justice. You have to see these wheels in person! All in all I'm very happy with them and they gave my car a whole new killer look! So if your in the mark for some very nice high end wheels give Vossen a call.

Look great and they should be aggressive at shows and on the strip.

The fronts are 32 and rear is 42 and yes, the 32 will clear big brake set ups.

From the pictures they look like they are pretty flush (no tucking or sticking out) with the fender. Is that how they sit? My 07 sat just like that,as far as the wheels go and I want to keep the same appearance.

Thanks in advance.

I'm not really sure how much the weigh. I put them on my scale at home and both wheels weigh the very same 28.4 pounds?? How can a 9" wheel weigh the same as the 10 1/2" wheel? All I know is they don't weigh that much at all.

Re: Vossen Wheels CV1's Review (pics)

a polished wheel or non chrome usually weigh the least (chrome is heavy)... but you have to put in much more effort if you daily drive a polished wheel car aka 2 hours for met to polish all 4 of my wheels lol
