sweet dude..im proud of u... alota mod motor guys dont seem to like to do their own install work at that level. the price on the mod motor aftermarket has been my main deterent for owning a mod car. what you have in your blower is close to what i have in most of my car.

i was adding up in my head what u have in 550hp and what it will cost me to get from 456hp to 550hp....i envy your chassis, but i dont envy the cost of doing business between our two cars..no comparison.

im not tryn to detract from your moment though. i remember how i felt when i wrapped 6000rpm (auto trans)when i first tested out my blower...itsa a cross between sex and a religious experience.

i will need new underwear with your car though....omg...im drooling for you

I think your referring to how much more parts and such are for the S197 Vs your Fox body mustang. I had 8 fox body 5.0 mustangs and I know now a days they are cheaper to modify but when they were the new ones on the block it was the same for them to. I totally love and miss my old 5.0's. My first car when I was 15 was a 67 notch back. I loved it so much that I vowed to rebuild one someday but the modern era of stangs changed me. When I saw the 05 for the first time I knew this was the car I would build. To me it combines 67's styling with modern performance. I don't care for the 10's and 11's that much. I think Ford had it right with the 05-09 style. Now they look more futuristic and less retro. I love all stangs I just am madly in love with the 2005. And my wife.............. :0

Congratulations! Blowers Rock! I love my 07 427R Roush...

Be careful and start considering what mods you might need to do to your suspension to handle that kind of power.

550 is serious horsepower...

Will do. So far I have Tokico D Speck adjustable shocks and Eibach springs. I will look into what to get next. Not sure what is the way to go. I want it to ride as good as possible but also handle the power. Next year 6 speed and a one piece driveshaft.

Thumbs up Re: Finally got a Supercharger :)

Very nice bro!!! I JUST paid off my supercharger install from 3 years ago. You won't be disappointed!!!

Word of advice: all the go needs just as much stopping power.
Recommend S/S brake lines and AT LEAST power slot front rotors and Hawk HPS pads. You don't want to put all them ponies and yourself through a brick wall.

Thanks for the info, I appreciate it. My car has the Ford Racing Brake Kit which consists of 14" one piece rotor non slotted with 4 Piston Brembo calipers, front and rear stainless steel brake lines. I want to change to the Wilwood 2 piece drilled & slotted 14" rotor with 6 piston caliper for the front and a Wilwood 4 piston two piece drilled & slotted 13" setup for the back. So, at least for now I do have better than stock brake system but hopefully soon will have the best possible brakes all around. I just need to re-coup some cash cuz it's about $3,000 more for the setup. Selling the 14" front Brembo's will help a little

Awesome dude!! What are running in your drivetrain and suspension?? You planning on a built motor at some point?

The S197 platform is still real comfy up to 600+ HP after that it's a pretty harsh ride with chassis mods

Sorry if this is addressed somewhere earlier, I'm on the iPhone and it's kind of a pain searching lol

No worries, I'm on an iPhone to. I have D Spek adjustable shocks and Eboich springs. Everything else is stock. Gonna run it the way it is until I need a forged block then will add some more mods like throttle body and more boost when I know the engine will handle it. Next tax return I plan on 6 speed tranny with one piece driveshaft.

You'll love the D-Spec with the added power now. Beef up the rear end's stability and this platform by far has the best Auto Cross or Drifting characteristics.

Welcome to the boost juice crew!

Re: Finally got a Supercharger :)

looks good, the 05-09 dont like much more than 450rwhp so I would not go above that as the motors are just not strong enough for that kind of abuse, its probably 550hp at the flywheel anyway which would be around 450rwhp~ or right where you want to be.

It is 550 at crank but must likely is 480 ish at the wheels. This kit has an average of 480-490 at the wheels. I also have the Kooks LT headers which will most likely put me in the mid 480's. I spoke to Whipple directly and they have over 500 of these new kits out there and the blocks are holding up nicely. With that said I am sure forged internals are in my pretty near future

Re: Finally got a Supercharger :)

yea, keep it 450-480 and you should be fine with a good tune thats not on the lean side. My friend has a paxton on his 06 with 10psi in an auto putting down 480 on a dynocom dyno and he is fine. Just dont blow your car up for 20-30 more rwhp lol.
