You wont get pulled over but if you get caught speeding, they might add it to your fine.

Re: window tinting

I HAD 20% but it was illegal and got a stupid ticket (for doing NOTHING but having tint) most normal police officers dont care unless you are doing something else when you get pulled over or you are being rude.... I wouldnt risk it though.

Re: window tinting

I have limo tint, I only get ticketed for it whenever they pull me over for something else, so they just add it on to the pile of tickets. And that would be part of the pile for , covered headlights, covered taillights, tint, speeding and at times for insurance (always forget to put the new paperwork in the car). So yeah, go for it! Just don't get pulled over for speeding and you should be alright.....unless it's quota time! LOL

Lol nice! Well I work in the emergency services field and know most of the cops. but that dont mean the ones I don't know won't ticket me. My tint place doesn't offer 20% and 30% is legal in Indiana. Privacy is 15% im thinking ill take my chances cuz I have a perfect driving record. So far although i've only had my car a week lol. Just wondered how everyone elses experiences were with it

Go Big or Go Home. I went 15% all the way and did my windshield on my 04. Along with tinted taillights.

What tint percent do you recommend for the windshield?

Ive tried looking for the laws on tint but havent had luck. I live in Florida. Do you know what the legal limit is? Im getting tints done spring break i think and want to get it right. I think imma do 15% on the sides and back and then black out my taillights but leave the reverse indicators untinted. Not sure what percent i want for the headlights.

It's illegal in LA to have anything below like 6inches from the top or 4inches? Not sure of the exact law but IDK. I'm a certified inspector and I'll just pay the fine if I get one.

The whole windshield is nice. No night time glare and not too bright in the days.

Re: window tinting

In Virginia the law is 35% rear and 50% up front, since 50% would have been a waste of money I did 35% on all (except windshield) didn't want to press my luck too much!

Here in MO, the back has no limit and the front is 35%. Personally, I dont like tint, I can't see very well in the first place, so backing up can be a pain with 5%.
A couple buddies of mine have 5% all the way around, and if they get pulled over, they just drop both front windows so they don't get a ticket for it.
The brow here is limited to the "ASI" line on the windshield.

Well im thinking the same. Im doing 15% all around and want to do the windshield full 15% but cant decide. I don't wanna push my luck either. But I think a brow would look silly. My appt is tomorrow so I better decide quick

I've got 5% all way. Header on windshield. If you guys have inspection stickers on your windshields, I wouldn't recommend doing the whole windshield. They're gonna have to cut a piece where insp sticker goes.

I really am not a fan of the brow but tinting the full windshield around here will get you pulled over for sure.
