Exhaust "Groan"

I noticed the other day that my pypes pype bomb exhaust makes a groaning noise if I'm in a certain gear at low rpms... Especially 2nd... It almost sounds like it's vibrating against something or something is loose but I just checked under it yesterday and everything is tight. It doesn't seem to do it when I first take the car out, but it seems when it heats up, it does it... Anyone know if this is normal or if it will go away?? They are pretty new exhausts...

Mine does the same thing. I have borla. It's not just droning is it? That's my guess

Probably ... drone is normal and it may just be causing a vibration that makes a small drone from some other component too at that rpm.

It's normal. I need a GT bumper bc mine vibrate against my bumper causing it to resonate through the cabin sometimes in low rpms.

Re: Exhaust "Groan"

double check its not to close to something and causing a vibration, all the hangers should be on rubber.

My '06 did this because it was vibrating against the rear bumper.
