Pride

So I have my 06 gt on the lift changing the oil and there is s very nice 75 duster on the lift next to me and he was telling me he remembers when the 65 mustang came out an how a beautiful car it was. I wasn't sure where he was going with this but as he went on I realized he was talking about pride! We don't on a crappy import! We own pure bread American muscle. And we should drive like it! Just my 2 cent pedestal moment.

I owned a 07mazda 6 for a year and put it in storage for a year while I went to Iraq. When I get back the car is do boring I traded it in within 24 hrs of being back for my car now and I am honestly considering keeping it until I die. Turn it into the Sunday driver. In a decade or 2!

I was trying to think of a good gas car a month ago to buy as a daily driver and after much debate with my friends we came up with a 2011 v6 mustang with forced induction and borla headset back exhaust and a tune.lol!! So needles to say in still at step one. Don't give a crap and still drive the gt!

Re: Pride

Never owned a import before but I would consider one as a DD in the future if needed because of the gas mileage......I said......."CONSIDER",LOL!

Re: Pride

one of the main reasons the Mustang is one of the most popular and has the best people out there that own them and go to events~ they have been around so long and have such a huge following.

That's true. One of my most little joys in life that just pick me up no matter what bull is going on is when I get a shout out or someone biker gives me a nop or wave. Just gives me a little grin and I'm good to go a second round with my gunny!

I was eating an apple pie today in my mustang...listening to Bruce springsteins "born in the USA". I heard some noise over the radio and there was a convoy of S197s driving down Eisenhower avenue...a red one, a white one, and a blue one...then there were a couple harleys following them...all with American flags...it was like some kind of weird commercial...and a feeling I'll never forget...weird and wonderful all at the same time.

We can all say that when it comes to
Pride, history, or loyalty the mustangs have with stood many changes and we have all adapted to them. The mustangs has a long following from here and abroad. Shows, drag strips, and now NASCAR. Where can the next 50 years take us and the mustang.

I can't answer that question, but i can say that I will be right there.
