Rattling/hissing noise

Hey guys when I start up my mustang mainly in the morning it makes this hissing/rattling noise for the first 5-10 minutes, I think it is just when I push the clutch in but it seems as soon as the car warms up it stops, my car is still under warranty from the dealership so the are going to fix the problem this weekend when I take it to them but do you have any clue what this noise may be from? or if I should let my car warm up before I drive it like a desiel on a cold morning lol. Btw I'm only 18 and am just still learning about cars so if this is a dumb question don't give me a dumb answer

Yeah well I would take it up tomorrow but I'm a roofer and I'm working like from 7 am to 5 pm and I just don't have time during the week, so the weekend is really my only option to take the car in

Re: Rattling/hissing noise

My friend's TO bearing and Pilot bearing have been making god awful racket/jolting for nearly a year now.. Haha. My mechanic friend said that TO bearings are funny pieces... Sometimes they make noise and then go out in a day, sometimes they can make noise and last years.
Guess the question is..

Do ya feel lucky, punk? huh? Do ya?

Re: Rattling/hissing noise

throw out bearings are not a huge issue to replace... but Ford tried 3 times on mine and each time it didnt last... maybe you will have better luck.

Re: Rattling/hissing noise

There is a TSB on the transmission plate, (the plate on the bottom the bolt to the engine anf transmission) it makes a ratteling sound when cold but goes away as soon as the engine warms up. I bet that's your issue. That's one if these Ford TSB's that if the costumer does not complain they won't even touch it.

Ok I finally got the report from my ford dealer, and they say it is a blown or bad clutch cylinder and they are fixing it.
