Proformance chip

I'm trying to learn more about cars since I'm newly a owner of a 05 gt and I was looking around and I saw a pcd performance chip stage 1 for $69.00 it claims 4-7 mpg gain and up to 60 hp I have no clue if this would be worth it or not I'm trying to do some cheaper mods to my car cause I need to save most my money to pay for college. is this a good buy? I've heard some good things about chips

Not gonna get you 60HP......full exhaust plus CAI and tuner wont even do that. Where did you see a chip for a S197????

If I'm right you found this on eBay. It's bogus. It doesn't do anything. The only chips that help your car on mpg and hp cost in the 300 to 500 range. I've researched those cheap chips found on eBay and other knockoff sites and they are 100% scam. Steer clear. if you want a tuner go with SCT. Best tuner for mustangs

Re: Proformance chip

I didn't mean to sound so uppity I was just saying everything I see to add power to a car costs an arm and a leg, thats why I had to buy one already moded I can't afford any of the stuff my car has on it.
