Ford racing lowering springs

Has anyone had any problems with alignment and camber issues with just putting Ford racing springs on ?

Re: Ford racing lowering springs

Not I....Ive had the K springs on my 07 and on the 2011. You will need a allignment afterwards of course and it is up to you it you want to use the caster camber plates that will run you around $300 or the Camber bolts that are about $30. The K springs dont drop it that much so some choose not to do either. Go get a allignment and ask for a print out so you can see it you have a issue.

Man. Thanks a lot great info. I was really thinking the same thing . My buddy had the k's on his 06'. And to honest it doesn't look that dramatic of drop. I have the aggressive CDC chin spoiler enroute from AM and thought of the springs as well. But I am thinking of putting that $ towards a better mid pipe ! I like the higher stance with that splitter ( looks 69' boss-ish ! ) thanks again

The K springs on the 07 and 11 have a different look. The 11 looks and feels a ton lower,Ive had friends tell me that they can barely see under the car when in front or behind me.

Here are a couple pics of my 07 and the 2011 with the same K springs.

So there is no way to get around it ? You have to get a alignment when using k springs ? It's not a bolt on and go ?

Re: Ford racing lowering springs

You are messing with the suspension so if you wanna drive around with a screwed up alignment and cause wear on your tires than that will be up to you. Just get it aligned soon after the install.
