Over heating

Ok so now that it is getting warmer out. I'm starting to run hot. Car starts to lose rhythm and lops loud! Any ideas for cooling her Down?

What year and mileage? Alu engines don't take over heating very well. Follow Fords maintance . Thermostate could be bad and check the electric fan

It might need a flush and refill or a bad thermostat.
