chin clearance???

I am about to drop my car 1.25 inches in the front. But I also want to put in a CDC aggressive chin spoiler. Has anyone done this and if so how much clearance did you have. Even if you haven't done this what are your opinions?

Re: chin clearance???

My car has a chin spoiler on it and I think it is stock and I scrape a little on most every driveway I enter so I have to go in real slow and at an angle it gets to be a pain in the backside sometimes but itr looks so damn cool I don't want to take it off.

Nice car. My car is the same color. Are you running stock wheels/tires?

Nice as hell. They from American muscle? And do you know the exact size of the tire and wheel?

It looks likes its dropped a little. Maybe like an inch. I wanting 275/30-20 on the rear. It's just so Damn expensive for those dimensions.

Re: chin clearance???

Yeah I know that is why I am glad this car came with the wheels on it already and they are the same size front and rear.

I had the classic chin on my 05 with the eibach pro kit. I was running 255/35 front 275/35 rear. As long as you take dips and speed bumps one tire at a time you'll clear.

Re: chin clearance???

Nice lookin stang, and im pretty sure u will be fine, you will just have to go turtle speed slow across speed bumps and other things. And if u need a lil more clearance then just turn the wheels to give you an extra half inch or so.

Re: chin clearance???

you will have more issues with not pulling in to far to park with curbs and going in at an angle when you are driving up a hill or entrance.

Ya I figured that. Every time I park at a parking stop I get out and try to judge if I would be far enough away to not hit it.

Re: chin clearance???

You really have to be careful when parking those parking blocks are hig so don't pull up too far when parking in front of them.
