Vortech v-2 on 06 gt

A friend of mine has a v2 for his first gen 4.6L and I can get it for way cheap. I called vortech and they told me it would work but I would have to shave down some parts of the housing for it to mount to my mounting kit. Does anyone know about these chargers or can provide any help.

if they say it will fit get the price for brackets and all that needed along with a tuner and tune that is required (from a dyno tune session) and see how much it totals up to.

I would also recommend letting a professional that REALLY knows those blowers look it over and make sure its working right and has no issues, you could also send it to Vortech for inspection.

Yea I thought of that. It looks good everything rotates fine. My buddy is moving and gave everything to me for super cheap so if I have to get it checked it will. My main question is if anyone knows where the recommend you put the oil return and where the oil feed comes from.

I have the v3 in mine and it is self contained it needs no oil return line it has it's own oil tank built in.

Yea. Mine is the v2 SQ. My buddy had to put an elbow on his oil pressure sensor for the feed and the return went into the oil pan.
