Just purchased my 1st mod..

I got my car with a few upgrades already installed on it but I made my first investment today. I purchased a tuner from American Muscle & will be getting my hands on it shortly. It's a weird sensation making the jump into actually doing something to increase my car's performance & to be fully honest, I've never done it before. Now I have the task of hiding it from my ole lady because she wants 100% of our funds current & extra going toward getting married in a few months..

Re: Just purchased my 1st mod..

the tuner is easy to use and should give you good results if you got the premium tune, even better as you start doing mods and get updates to the tune for those new changes

load up that race tune, the throttle response on that one is by far the best. One you go race tune you won't even care to try the others.

Thanks for the heads-up guys. I'll be sure to keep the race tune plugged in DDM. Thank you for the fair wishes with the ole lady Amie, I'll be needing that when she gets back from out of town.

Nothing a little candlelight, nice dinner, chocolate, wine, and some Bary White can't fix.. I'm hoping so anyway otherwise Petey is in the doghouse and that ain't good kool-aid.

Re: Just purchased my 1st mod..

remember the race tune requires premium, listen for detonation closely as well if you ever get bad gas you may have some so just FYI (marbles rolling around in your intake is what it kind of sounds like)

I selected a mid-grade fuel for the sport tune and 91 octane for the race. Thanks for the heads-up.

What woman can resist the candles, nice dinner, chocolates, & Bary White? That's totally excusable if your fiancée uses a large sum of your wedding funds for car stuff, isn't it?

Not when we've had a joint checking account for about 5 years.

Nice! She tells me to shut up multiple times per day because of all the stuff I want to get for the car. I was driving a Ranger prior and had 0 aspirations of doing ANY mods whatsoever. I get the constant "I'm so sick of hearing about your f*cking car". But then she will turn around and want to drive it, go figure?

Just tell her it was one last fling before you get married because after that you will not have the money to do it , and also tell her it is better than having a last one night stand.

Honestly for the couple bucks a tank difference it's worth it to me to run the 93 tune. I don't really look at gas much anymore lol
