Re: Check engine light?

I had the same issue on my 2007 stage 3 roush. I had VMP Tuning send me a new tune by e-mail and I loaded it and no more codes. I then took it to the VMP shop and had Justin tweak it to get as much power as was safe and the car runs great. Justin told me it could have been the tune the previous owner had installed in the car. Been 4 months and so far no codes. Just don't run your car with the lean codes showing. At least keep your foot out of the pedal until you get it fixed. Just my 2 cents worth. Good luck.

Put hose clamps on both sides of this tube. If it comes loose it could be letting unmetered air into your engine causing the lean condition. This can cause detonation (pinging) and cause permanent damage to your engine. You should be able to pick up a couple small worm-style hose clamps up at any hardware store for a matter of cents. I strongly recommend that until you do, you check those connections every time you start the car and be as light on the throttle as possible.
