2006 mustang GT

There are two plastic caps on the ledge above my rear seats. Underneath each one is a U shaped metal object. What are they?

Do the look like hooks for something? And on the cap it looks like it's anchoring something?

Ok I know exactly what your talking about. I honestly am not 100% on this either. I see it in alot of cars and my only thing I can think of is like child car seats or something

Re: 2006 mustang GT

We just bought this car and it had only 7500 miles on it. We are really enjoying it!

Me and my husband. It was his retirement present. We would have loved to buy a new one but it wasn't financially possible.

They're to connect a baby seat in. Newer ones use the loops to secure, not seatbelts.

Re: 2006 mustang GT

I think that's what they're for as well. And yes, nice retirement gift! I have a 2006 GT right now, but I plan on getting myself something even faster for my graduation gift to myself.
