the save for the turbo

I'm beginning to save up for a hellion turbocharger kit anyone with this have anything to say? also i realize i have to buy injecters and a fuel pump if i'm correct. should i wait and save for these when i buy the kit or buy them before hand. Any other modifications i should get before the turbo to work more efficient? here are my mods steeda CAI, tuner, comp mutha thumper cams, borla XR-1 longtube headers, off road x pipe, borla catback stingers, and some ford racing 4.10 gears on the way

Re: the save for the turbo

it all sounded good till you got to the 4.10 gears. is it gonna be a race car or a street car? if its gonna be a street car, that 4.10 may be a bit more gear than you need with a turbo.

Re: the save for the turbo

dont install the 4.10s keep the gears that are in the rear end..4.10s are to steep keep the 3.55s in if those are the ones you have now...for fuel look for the gt500 dual pump setup.. i will have 1 for sale in a few weeks prob out of a friends car... you get to recoupe some cash when you sale your longtube, midpipe, and CAI..also do you have the steeda delete plates? if not get them because they do help..when you get the turbo kit go ahead and get the billet wheel precision 67mm so when you do a built motor you can turbo it up till your ready for more power...the 67mm can make 700+ on race gas....im a dealer for hellion so when your ready for the turbo kit shoot me a text 409-651-2839(mike)

Re: the save for the turbo

they seem to have a great kit, expect 7-8k invested when you are done~ maybe more depending on if you install most of it yourself, and if you need a K member etc~ but the end result is good power... but you cant really push it above 450-475~ so that wont be very much psi lol but a good level for a street car or until you build the motor to take the abuse.
