cold air intake 08 gt

i have a 08 gt mustang that i want to install a cold air take, which one do you guys recommend for the best sound and power

BBK for sure. Power you won't see the biggest difference in the world but you do get a nice gain. Sound. More of a low sound pitch

Dyno for sure. Chips are nice but why eat a hamburger when you can have steak

+1 on the dyno. I have Steeda's CAI with an Airaid filter. Good sound and I like how wide the tubing stays at the bend, unlike FRPP's or other ones I've seen

I put a JLT on my 08 but I also did the sct tuner cause it was a bigger diameter tube so It required the tune....the tune is where it's at! Until you can have it dyno tuned of course....

I'm using the Steeda "High Flow" Carbon Fiber CAI, with SCT Tuner, got some pics in my profile.

The better ones out there (JLT, Steeda, etc) all make good power with a proper tune. If they claim no tune is needed - avoid, you're buying looks. I went with Steeda because they use a metal shield, not plastic. Looks great IMO, pics in my album.
