Your 3v is definitely moving man and I'm just not sure if I want to get a stroker kit from MMR or just get it fixed what would you do if you blew your motor? It's kinda hard to do since I'm a full time college student but I also work so I have some income coming in as well

I've been through 4 motors and 2 blowers.
I have spent a ton of money in all the wrong places

This is the short block I started with this time around:
JDM 302E 2005-2010 3V Mustang Short Block Motor - JDM Engineering
Ford now has a stroker but it's a little less stroke and a little more bore:
5.0L Modular Stroker Shortblock By Ford Racing

Call Jim Jr. at JDM. those guys are super cool and know all the right stuff.
People you can trust and they are world class drag racers so they are up on all the latest

The more torque from the longer throw will help you launch better.
See how I tied that in...?

I bought one of those but haven't installed it yet.
I can see the value with a stick but I wonder how effective it will be with the auto?
I am foot braking now and get pretty consistently low RT's.
Any input would be great from those that are running them.

Sure it does. Just like dumping the clutch, when you release the brake it takes off.
A lot of guys are running them, especially bracket guys.
I'm just not sure how much it's going to help me since I am already getting .2XX reaction times and 1.4 60 foot and I'm not a bracket guy. I just like to see how fast I can go.

I will say however I regard Scotty to be one of the most knowledgeable on here, especially when it comes to 04 and older. Is a wot box like a launch control thing then?

I thought line lock was just for warming your tires up, or is that wrong as well?
