Re: Detail Secret

oh great i have to carry you on my back all the time, just please, no handstands while using the force! lol

i would take out my seats, but im nervous because its a lot harder on the S197 with power seats then my old SN95, but they have vacuums for that

I wish i had a garage!! every day i wake up my car is so covered in AZ dust it looks brown, thank God for the cali king duster thing!

oh i forgot to add:
shampoo 2-3 times a month
let the dash soak in polish
pop off the door panels to sand if any scratches and wipe down with polish
fold down rear seats to vacuum and even detail trunk (gets used often)
woop!

If you keep up on the cars interior there is no need to pull the seats for a shampoo. Vacuum, shampoo with a interior brush,if you have some bad grease spots you can use a stain remover or water down some degreaser,Vacuum again.

Re: Detail Secret

I used to work at a shop that cared more about the quanity of cars we did VS the quality so when we did interiors we soaked the dash, door panels and all plastics with dressing then used the air to spray it down. I myself would rather wipe it down and use brushes but it was a fast process.

Thats not fine for a shop IMO. I wouldnt recommend a shop that did that to anyone nor would I run my shop in that manner. Im a little OCD though.
