O2 sensor throwing the check engine light.

I know why the light is being thrown....no cats...screw u hippies! Anyways, my question is has anyone ever heard of or experience the O2 sensors throwing a code when the rear ones are turned off? The guy that tuned me said that's what is happening but I think he just forgot to do it and doesn't want to say. What do u guys think?

if the back o2's are turned off you should not get a code thrown, you have two more in the front I think~ those could be bad, does it say which when you read it?

The codes were p0420 and p0430 which read "catalyst system efficiency below limit -bank 1" and catalyst system efficiency below limit -bank 2". Never had the codes before and I just removed my cats last weekend so I wouldn't think they went bad over night.

Actually replace limit with threshold. Not that it makes a huge difference but just want to be accurate.

Figured. Well he sent me a "new" tune and they appear to actually be off this time. I was just wondering.
