Blower suggestions

I have a 2007 ford mustang gt. I wondering what super charger is the best install, and for a daily driver. The car has about 42,000 miles and is a 5 speed.

Procharger PS (series) is a good bet. Quiet and self contained oil system I believe.

I have a 2008 roush 427. And it has the m90 roots supercharger on it. Pushing 9lbs. Which is pretty much maxing it out. But its pretty dam quick. Quicker than the 03 cobra i used to have with pulley and tune.

Not to jack the thread, but you have a heck of a car. The 427's are possibly my favorite stang. Also, the cobra was pretty awesome too.

I have been reading about ATI and Roush chargers. I'm leaning towards a pro charger. But, still looking into it.

I live the roots blowers and twinscrews but the procharger systems are really good no heatsoak but I had most blowers and the whipple was one of my favorites but nothing compared to a turbo.

The best one for a stock 4.6 is the whipple kit. It comes with a good tune. I'm almost done with my "GMSPANKER" aluminator motor and guess what its getting , Whipple.

Check out the Edlebrock E-force. For a daily driver, this looks like the most rational and integrated setup . Check out their videos and see why.

Re: Blower suggestions

before you drop the 6-10k (depending on what you do and how you do it) be sure that 450rwhp~ is going to make you happy as thats the limit just about without a built motor on that car... and that 10k investment will not be worth nearly as much re-sale wise

can compare that to selling your car for market value and investing 10k + your cars value into a new vehicle~

I am NOT saying go that route but its always best to consider ALL alternatives so you dont make a mistake... plus if its not installed right etc you WILL have issues, you will have issues either way though its just part of the modding process lol

Re: Blower suggestions

I installed a Paxton NOVI 2200 Intercooled kit from Brenspeed, on my son's 2006 Roush Stage 2. The kit was very complete, the instructions were clear and concise, and it took 2 days to install. The result was 480RWHP. That was 2 years ago, and we have had ZERO problems. I HIGHLY recommend that you work with a reputable shop like Brenspeed or Blow By Racing.
