Clutch and Flywheel

I'm performing a swap on my 05 GT from auto to manual. I've been looking at many different clutches and flywheels. Not sure which one to go with. The car is a DD and has all the typical bolt ons. Suggestions?

Re: Clutch and Flywheel

I like my Mcleod RST. The pedal is alot lighter than the stock clutch. Can handle up to 800hp.

Ya McLeod is a little too pricey. I've been looking at Exedy, Ram and Spec.

I have a Spec 2 clutch in my 05... Hated it at first because it was hard to push in but now I don't even notice it.

Ya I've heard good and bad about Spec. A lot of people like Exedy so I might just go that route

Ya I was thinkin of going with the Exedy 400 and then upgrading it if I need to later on. Is the 400 a good clutch?

Well I needed the 600 to handle the power and I am told 400, 500, 600 are all for the torque you have for flywheel torque so depends on how much flywheel torque you have but I love my clutch kit, it holds the power so well such a upgrade from stock LOL
