1st Mustang and loving it

Hey everyone, great site!!! Lots of good reading,

Just bought an '05 GT standard, zippy little bugger. It has after market CAI but that's all I know about the thing. My question is what is the best way to tell if it has an after market exhaust?

Re: 1st Mustang and loving it

The stock mufflers-that came on your car-hav a 3/4" wide strap, on the back end, that runs around the entire oval diameter. They are pretty wide, 10-12 inches? Most of the aft-cat mufflers, are smaller, and throatier, to the ear..

Ya I noticed your car a few months ago when I first joined lol

Mine has some k&n typhoon CAI you got that too? Lol. Oh and are those things any good? Or should I be looking at changing that as well as the exhaust?
