Hid problems

07 GT just replaced the right fog lamp due to a broken mount. After replacing I went to align the lights on a garage door right? Well I noticed the passenger light was not on. Ok I thought maybe it was not wired right or I missed something. I searched high and low every where and looks like everything is hooked up correctly. I looked up a diagram of how a Hid harness kit bulbs and all from battery to lamp works and I can't find the problem. Long story short my driver side is not working now. I hooked up a halogen bulb and that is now not working either. I have a brand new optima so I know I'm getting power. So frustrated I need help any advice / expertise.???

1. Light switch on
2. Driverside light was only working
3. Turn off then on fog lights
4. Now both fogs are now working
5. Is the switch the problem?

Switch does not illuminate when pulled to show that fogs are in fact on. But can that make or brake my issue? Just cuz it's not illuminate? They were working before the 10 min I took to replace the lamp itself...

I have seen a bad bulb shorting to ground cause this issue. Remove or move the bulbs to see if the problem follows a bulb.
