Winter tires

Hi!

If you guys are like me, you're not capable of letting your beloved Mustang all winter long in the garage. I live in Canada in a place where winters are long, cold and very snowy. It's my forth winter with my Bullitt and next year I will probably change my winter tires.

If this situation applies to you, I want to know what winter tires you use and if you are satisfied with them.

By the way, it would be great if American Muscle was selling winter tires. I understand that there's probably not a lot of demand, but it would be nice to get at least one or two options. I know I would get better prices there than at my local tire shop.

I had firestone winterforces on mine. They are excellent in my opinion and very reasonably priced. Around 80-100 in stock sizes. Be warned they are not the best handling tire on dry pavement and they are loud but you get awesome traction in snow and ice.

Re: Winter tires

This is what I have on my car right now. They also have been studded. Is it your case?

They're not studded and i still never had a problem. My winters in ohio probably are not as harsh as yours in canada though. They plow a lot here lol

Re: Winter tires

Oh yeah! A lot of snow, ice and freezing cold weather for approx 4 months a year. You know, for exemple, this morning, it was -22° Fahrenheit with wind factor. Believe me, it will still go a little worse. I wish I live in the lower states...

Thanks for your review of the Firestone Winterforce tires. It's true that they give good snow and ice traction (better with studs), it's true that thay are loud (even louder with the studs) and it's also true that thay are not the best for handling and traction on cold but dry pavements (worse with studs).
