Black headlight covers problem

Does anyone else have the same problem with one of the sides not staying on tight? My driver side is always popped out when I get home and it's only after going 45-50. It's like the bottom part won't stay secure.

It's a tint spray. I used it for mine too before I put stocks back in.

Dude I know. They always are hanging on by the top and out of place on the whole bottom when I look at them after driving

I got then as a Xmas gift so I can't rate them on AM but I would give em 2 stars, typical mustang owners bought them and as long as it looks good for 2 minutes or works for a day they give it 5 stars SMH

You won't unless they changed the design, it's fine just use double sided adhesive tape, I just wish they would tell to that instead of me driving and getting out to see them flapping in the wind

I got them for christmas too and I have an 07 also. They look so damn sick but are garbage for staying on the car. Can you post a pic of how you did the 3m tape? I'm gonna go pick some up on the weekend.

I bought the removable indoor first so it wasn't stuck on there but that wasn't enough and no problem I'll post up some pics tomorrow on how I did it

Re: Black headlight covers problem

I use 3M tint on mine...both headlights and foglamps....great stuff, no problems just take your time when putting on and make sure you get out all the air bubbles!

Re: Black headlight covers problem

My lights are fine and I still use the stock lamps....maybe it's in the tint?

My headlights are dim with the covers, but I only use my fogs now, and won't the tint leave nasty glue behind once you remove it

Re: Black headlight covers problem

If you use good tint, then I would say no. I had to remove the tine from my windows to get by a ticket from the cops and there was no residue on the windows. And that's another story...lol.

I guess it depends on the tint, length of time on there and climate
