Wheel chioce?

Ok I'm about to start buying a wheel each pay check till I have all 4 then do the same for the tires lol... What wheel would look best with my color (keep in mind I'm going to have a black lip, side skirts, and GT/cs rear bumper) I'm also going to paint my calipers to match my car

I like the black Bullitt rims, but I like more retro look. Are you going to put the GT/CS front clip or just rear?

Are you going with 18, 19' or 20?

Check our cruzinconceptswholesale.com for some other options.

I'd like to go 18 I think 17 are too small but 19 are too big... I will b getting a big brake kit At some point so I have to b able to clear those... I love the look of RTR style wheels but they dont make em in a 18x10 I want the staggered look... I also don't want to spend more than $150 per wheel...

Another question: how heavy is the stock 17" bullets? It would b super cool to get a bigger wheel that looks better that is also lighter... But I vet that will put me over budget

Stay away from 19s the tire choice for 19s are to expencive go 18 or 20s tires are cheeper (18 being cheepiest hear) and u have more vatiaty to choose from.

Re: Wheel chioce?

I'm a big fan of the RTR wheels.... you may want to look at the SVE Drift wheels too.... not sure how they compare on price... but I think you can get those in the staggered option

Yea that's what I was saying I don't like giant wheels on stangs.... If you run bigger wheels it slows you down right? I don't understand the point of giant wheels... However I noticed a local track (road course) depending on type of vehicle you have to have at least 18-19" wheels... I don't understand that either... I've been watching the grand sport road races on speed Ch and it appears the boss and our year Stang are r running 17" but it's hard to tell

Boss runs 20s i think (at least the new one does) running larger diamater wheels does not slow u down in fact in most cases the more rim u have and the less rubber the lighter the total package this is because alloy or alumanum is lighter then steal and or rubber per cubic inch and nylon cords steal bands and rubber are what tires are costructed of. Also a smaller side wall on the tire helps maintain grip around a corner with less "roll to the out side" how ever rotationally speacking a "low pro" tire loses traction off the line faster because of the very reason it excells in corners and thats because having a small amount of "side wall flex" coushions the shock on a launch causing grip insted of slip so to re cap if ur drag racing in a streight line having a taller side wall on the drive tires is better but if making turns at high speed like road racing a low pro is the way to go!

Re: Wheel chioce?

FYI. . .This is what Wheel Option 1 would look like in a 19" staggered look. 19 x 8.5 with 255/40 in front & 19 x 19 with 285/35 in the rear.

Some Updated Pictures
