Lowering Springs GT/CS

Anyone know if lowering springs on a CS causes it to be too low in the front since the front clip is around an inch lower than a standard GT front?

Are you sure the CS has the same springs as the Shelby GT?

Re: Lowering Springs GT/CS

Not sure about the GT/CS. I have a roush front facia and FRPP suspenstion pack which lowers the car by 1". I dun have any problem driving it, it didn't hit anything for the past 2 years. It all depends on how the road condition in your area. But regardless, with a good looking from bumper like the GT/CS ones and lowering springs, you'd better drive very carefully. BTW, dun just get the spring, go with the shock and struts too. Good luck.

Re: Lowering Springs GT/CS

Too low is a relative term it all depends on the road conditions and how aggressively you drive your car. My GT/CS is lowered with Steeda Sport Springs, Steeda Adjustable Panhard Bar, Tokico D-Spec Struts & Shocks with Maximum Motorsport Caster/Camber Plates.

Generally I drive like a citizen and have never had a problem.

Driving like a citizen is also a relative term. LOL. Thanks for the input.

The CS clip i.e. the spoiler lip, is approx the same as adding a CDC classic chin spoiler to a GT.

I would say any spring that lowers 1.0" would be safe.
