hydro dip

Has anyone ever hydro dipped before? I just heard about it and found a DIY kit for 100$ and wanted to get peoples feedback about it. It seems like some cool stuff, just curious of how it holds up.

Depends on quality. As long as you keep it clean that will help

I would just have them painted or powder coated. Unless you have a certain reason you want them to be hydro dipped?

Gotya. Do you have another vehicle you could test it on see how it does then of you have good results do your mustangs and if not then you haven't lost anything other then the $100 but that could easily be made back by dipping other stuff and selling it or just dipping stuff for people

No. It's my only vehicle. But like you said early. It's used on guns. So I was thinking that if it can stay on with barrel heat. Then I'm sure that the covers will be ok. I hope.... Lol
