Black bullitt rims

I have an 07' gt and I'm looking to put some black deep dish bullitt rims on it but trying to figure out size? I havent done anything with the suspension or anything. Everything is stock which size rims would look better 18" or 19"?

That's a tough one, I think 18 are big enough, I have the factory 18s but 19 would fill out better, even those Saleen 20s don't look that big on are cars

Also don't worry about the rim price so much, look up the tires you want in 18 and in 19s, I think 19s will cost alot more cause its not a common size

Re: Black bullitt rims

18's are slightly too small. 20's are slightly too big. 19's are generally the perfect size for S197's. However, the issue isn't that 19's are so much more expensive than 18/20's, it is the fact that you don't have as many tire brands/styles to choose from in 19's.

Personally, I have 19x8.5"s with 255/40's on the front & 19x10"s with 285/35's on the rear. My tires are Hankook Ventus V12 Evo's which are a solid tire without breaking the bank.

It goes down to "Personal Preferance". That part said about there not being a larger variety in 19" wheels and tires is accurate. And that makes them harder to get, pricy to get, but doable. I personally went with 22" Staggered.

Yea I've been pricing tires for both sizes and yea 19's are hard to come by I'm now contemplating on going with 18x10 in the rear and 18x9 in the front my big question is what size tires should I put with them? I want something that looks good with the rims but also will last a good while....are those combinations doable?

Yes, Staggered 18s are good, to get specifics on sizes, look thru the threads on here, also a shop or company should be able to tell you what has worked on cars. Research tires also, not all tires are the best, some give better performance, miles, MPG, etc and prices vary on tires also. I think you are better, going with the 18s, I don't have anything against the 19s at all, but If you get a flat or what ever happens, you can replace a 18 quicker than a 19. This part next, do not misunderstand me, I'm not saying to get these, just saying I'm familar with them: Dunlap is smooth, soft and expensive, I use them on wife's Camaro. Nexxon nice, use them on my Mustang, staggered sizes. Recommend both. Hopes this helps you a little.

I have the same wheel setup as you. And I went with nitto NT555 tires. All 4 tires made a fair price for around 750. And they are a pretty good tire. Nice solid grip and give a good look around the wheel.
