I saw someone on here have some colored trim, (I'm colorblind, so I don't know exactly what color) but it did look good! I assume it was red, the called their car black beauty.. And red is really the only color that goes with it..

I am actually a fan of strips, (but again I am colorblind, so what do I know!? Lol) to each his/her own!

Actually I like them clean or with stripes! I am thinking about silver stripes on mine.

When I looked for mine, I knew I didn't want white or black. I live in Oklahoma, we have the worst roads, black show dirt and chips very easily, same with white. After that it was get the car with the lowest miles and cheapest price! Found this 05 with 37k for $14,000. Traded my 06 f-150 for it. I like my color, any accent colors look good with it!

Only certain colors, I see shades of certain colors, black is darker then purple, purple is darker the red, red to blue, and so on, but if it's a bright color, I can usually tell the difference and see it. there is one persons stang on here that has a black car with bright green stripes. It stands out very easily to me.

Re: Red Trim

Are you planning to add any other red trim pieces/accents to the car? (i.e. calipers or anything). If the car is only going to be black & white, I am not sure the red fits in.

If you're going to add red trim or accents elsewhere, it could work. However, if it's just a red outline around the grille while the rest of the car is only black & white, I am not so sure.
