A quick Internet search will tell you...

3.31:1 on automatics and 3.55:1 on manual transmission 2005-2008 mustang GT's

I thought the 3.55 was an option for the manual? Did it come standard?

I think it was an option. My 07 is manual and I have 3.31 with an open differential.

My 05 had 3.55's from factory But had to give them up for some 4.10's ^.^ tr3650 btw also.

Never knew that. just looked and it is CG. But I'm guessing that the open diff and the "one tire on fire" lol

The gear ratios for 05-09 S197's are as follows:
V6 (All Years): 3.31's with or without limited slip (manual or automatic)
GT (05-06): 3.55's standard on Manual & 3.31's standard on automatics.
GT (07-09): 3.31's standard on Manual (with 3.55's optional) & 3.31's standard on automatics.
Bullitt's (07-08 or 09): 3.73's standard on Manual

Yep im a BG...but not for long hehehe. Got a built 8.8 with 3.73 in the garage just waiting for spring.
