EZ-Lip, cheap alternative to a real one

So I was wanting to buy a black lip or completely different front bumper for my 'tang but spent the money on new wheels/tires instead. But I found a product called EZ-Lip online for $35 shipped and love it. It was so easy to install, just peel the 3M backing and stick on. Even went through the car wash today with no problems, just 12 hours after putting it on.

It's obviously not a real lip but it gives the car a little more depth and different look.

Re: EZ-Lip, cheap alternative to a real one

yea, it sticks to the underside of the spoiler and you can stick the front part out as you would like. seems to go out up to 1". I did 1" on the sides and then on the curve up towards the center I took it back to .5" sticking out. They even make side skirts too, possibilities are endless really.

Be carful brighter bulbs make a lot more heat and can damage your housing or wire harness

I knew hids were a very hot bulb but didn't think that non hid bulbs would do that. Thanks for the warning.

HIDs burn cooler I thought and use less energy

---------- Post added at 06:56 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:53 PM ----------

Brighter bulbs normally use more watts and fry your harness and housing, I switched one bulb to Silverstar and left in the stock bulb in the other side and measured the temp with a infrared temp sensor and just that was 10 degrees hotter but it's the generics that do the damage, ssliverstars are fine
