Re: Centrifugal charger vs turbocharged vs supercharged

I considered charging for a while. I think you've got to ask yourself what your goal is. Do you want the fastest car ever, a car that will beat anything you pull up next to on the street, a car that's fun to drive, a sweet show car, etc. then plan your charger investment more around that.

If I was to get a roush it would be the tvs2300, it's capable of 700rwhp. It can be detuned to 500 rwhp or a little less to stay safe.

The only supercharger that will let you keep your cold air is saleen.... They can use a standard cold air kit

You can always get the m90 and if you want more later get the upgrade kit which changes it to the tvs

Depends on where you are..... I think most places charge around 85-95/hr for any work and most charge for a 2 day install (16hrs). Then since they're doing the install they'll probably hit you for the dyno time too, so add another 200-300.

One of the places I looked into getting a supercharger installed was going to run me about 9k, including the 6k or so for the blower I was looking at. That included dyno time with three tunes and install.
