I sometimes hear a rattle sound on my gt. sound around the stereo area. I hear it louder sometimes when I turn my AC on.. Any suggestion on possible solutions...

Does your rattle only happen when it's cold?

Now that you mention it, it does happen mostly when it's cold, though I think I've heard it after I've been driving a while as well.

Re: Rattle

dont worry guys.. the cold rattle is not a major issue at all... easy fix..

usually its one of three things...

It can be caused by 2 missing bolts on the bottom of the tranny bell housing dust cover. They are 10mm dia. x 1.5mm thread, and 3/4" long.... They should have it at the dealership....

OR heat shield under the car is loose..

OR its exhaust brackets coming loose...

Or your car is about to blow up. But that's rare. Usually it's a something simple
