Thumbs up running a S/C in the cold...

Anybody running a Supercharger notice the increase in horsepower during these last days of fall. The car is a beast in 40 degree weather. Simply love it!

oh and hello everyone....just found the website today.

cooler air = denser = more power.

My Cobra definatly makes more hp/tq when its cold. More air and cooler air is better. Heat is the issue on the 03/04 cobras stock blower~ heat soak sucks.

Welcome...and yes, I even have more PSI in this weather....I am going beyond the 18 mark where as I used to come just short of it in the 80+ temps....32 when I left for work this morning....went past the 18 mark completely.

Also, tell me you didn't badge your GT as a GT500....and I am just missing something here.

Welcome and yes, the regal loves the colder air... can't wait to get this intercooler installed

as it is I'm seeing ~13 PSI where its usually around 11... and it gains some of the top-end that its lacking

Welcome to ME...

Very pretty car..Are your rear quarters rolled at all? Looks like a pretty snug fit with those big tires in the back, although I like the look a lot...

thanks...nothing rolled...American Racing Shelby Torqs 18 X 10 w/Nitto 555R 305/45/18s in the rear....there is a slight rub with the 2 " drop Tein springs in the rear...I have the Eibach Pro springs to replace them which should correct the problem. I am just waiting on the QA1 12 way adjustable shocks for the rear. I'll kill 2 birds with 1 stone on the install.
